Irma Lile

Irma Lile, age 100, of Aurora, died Monday, June 21, 2010, at Memorial Community Care.

OBITUARY: IRMA LILE

Irma May Lile, the daughter of August and Isola (Scott) Rehmeyer, was born at Aurora, Nebraska on May 22, 1910 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on June 21, 2010, at the age of 100.

She grew up in rural Hamilton County and attended Country School District #78 and graduated from Aurora High School in 1929. Irma worked in Kansas City for several years.

Irma was married to Arch Lile on October 24, 1937. They lived in Kansas City during their marriage, where Irma worked as a dress and pattern maker. Arch passed away on August 12, 1990.

Irma was a member of the Christian Church in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Arch and Irma enjoyed travelling.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Those left to cherish her memory are her special friends, Ken and LaVera Regier and family.
