Dean LinkDean Link, age 75, died Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at his home in Aurora. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 24th at Higby-McQuiston Chapel in Aurora. Rev. Monty Nelson will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary. OBITUARY: DEAN LINK Paul Dean Link was born in Taylor County, Iowa on October 27, 1929 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on May 18, 2005, at the age of 75. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. Dean married Edna Juett on November 26, 1958 at Pacific Junction, Iowa. They resided in Council Bluffs until 1959 when they moved to Cedar Falls, Iowa. They resided there until July of 1967 when they moved to Aurora, where Edna passed away on February 17, 1970. He worked as a dairy farmer for the Steenburg Family and then did a lot of sub-contracting work moving dirt and snow with his bobcat. On December 9, 1970 Dean was united in marriage to Dorothy Sweem at Aurora. They continued to live in Aurora until Dorothy died on September 25, 1978. In May 23, 1982 of 1980 Dean married Ardis Luck at Kansas. They had lived in Marquette, before moving to Aurora. In recent years he worked for Tom Cornwell Auctioneers. He was preceded in death by his parents and first two wives. Dean is survived by his wife, Ardis Link of Aurora; two step-children, Frank Rumsey of St. Petersburg, Florida and Anna Prorok of Shelby, Iowa and other family and friends. |
