Richard Luebbe

Richard Luebbe, age 61, of Aurora, died Tuesday night, October 17, 2000, at his home after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Luebbe was cremated and there will be no services. Memorials may be made to the family.

OBITUARY: RICHARD LUEBBE

Richard E. Luebbe, the son of Lawrence and Irene (Gillham) Luebbe was born at Archer, Nebraska on June 4, 1939 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on October 17, 2000, at the age of 61 years, 4 months and 13 days.

He grew up on the family farm and was in the last graduating class from Archer High School. Richard served in the Navy for several months following graduation.

On October 18, 1963, he was united in marriage to Barbara Palu in Hastings, Nebraska. He farmed in Archer area for several years before returning to Grand Island to work for Hoppe Redi Mix. Richard also worked at Rector Redi Mix and Overland Redi Mix in Aurora as a dispatcher.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William.

He is survived by his wife Barbara “Bonnie” of Aurora; brother, Kenneth of Central City, sister, Pat Weller of Palmer, and brother, Roger of Grand Island.
