OBITUARY: Duane Lund

Duane Elmer Lund, the son of Elmer and Ruth (Ludington) Lund, was born at Genoa, Nebraska, on March 14, 1932, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on April 29, 1989, at the age of 57 years, 1 month, and 15 days.

He was raised in Genoa, and attended rural school near Genoa, and attended the Nebraska City school for the blind for 2 years. In 1972, he came to Aurora and resided at the Bethesda Care Center.

Duane was a member of the United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his mother, Ruth Lund of Genoa; one brother John Lund of Genoa; one sister Carole Bremer of Bedford, Iowa, and nieces and a nephew.
