Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 5, 1990 at the United Lutheran Church in Hampton. Interment was held in the United Lutheran Cemetery north of Hampton.

OBITUARY: Bernice Madsen

Bernice Magdalene Madsen, the daughter of Louis and Florence (Johnson) Madsen, was born at Hampton, Nebraska, on November 27, 1918, and passed away at Lincoln, Nebraska, on February 2, 1990, at the age of 71 years, 2 months, and 5 days.

She graduated from Hampton High School and worked in Lincoln for a time, and then returned to Hampton. In 1981 she moved to the Crossroads Court in Aurora, where she has since resided.

Bernice was a member of the United Lutheran Church in Hampton.

One of her hobbies was cake decorating.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Kermit, and a sister Irene.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are 4 brothers, Gilbert of Brush, Colorado, Virgil of Hampton, Dwayne of Hampton, and Carrol of Eugene, Oregon; one sister Una Mae Nielsen of Council Bluffs, Iowa; a sister-in-law Hilda Madsen of Hampton, and nieces and nephews.
