Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, September 20, 1979 at the Federated Church. Interment was held at Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Barbara Anne Manley

Barbara Anne Manley, the daughter of Gilbert and Shirley (Grosshans) Barnell was born at Omaha, Nebraska, on September 29, 1954 and departed this life at Denver, Colorado, on September 17, 1979, at the age of 24 years, 11 months and 12 days.

Her childhood was spent in Aurora, where she graduated from the public schools. She also attended one year at the University of Nebraska.

On August 21, 1973, she was united in marriage to William Manley at Aurora.

In 1976, she moved to Denver, Colorado, and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service and had recently completed her training as a supervisor.

While living in Aurora, Barbara was a faithful member of the Federated Church and was a youth member of the church council. She was also a member of the church choir, and assistant organist.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, George Barnell.

Those who survive to cherish her memory are her loving parents, Gip and Shirley Barnell, her son Brock Michael, one brother, Randy of Lakewood, Colorado, her Maternal Grandparents, Arthur and Gweneth Grosshans of Aurora, her Maternal Grandmother, Anna Barnell of Sutton, many Aunts and Uncles, other relatives and many close friends.
