Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 1, 1979 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held at Giltner Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Roy Mann

Roy Mann, the son of William and Nettie Mann, was born near Chalkmound, Kansas on November 24, 1895. His death occurred at Aurora, Nebraska on October 29, 1979 having attained the age of 83 years, 11 months and 5 days.

He spent his early years in the vicinity of his birth and received his education in the Public Schools near his parent’s home.

In 1925 he came to Hamilton County and had farmed near Aurora, Marquette and Giltner. After his retirement, he moved to Aurora with his sister, Bertha, with whom he had made their home.

Ray was a member of the United Methodist Church in Giltner.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant brothers, Bruce and Lewis; three sisters, Nina Mann in infancy and Anna Liebhart and Dora Miller.

His only survivors are two sisters, Mrs. May Liebhart and Bertha Mann both of Aurora; and many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
