Anjela Martinez

Anjela Martinez, age 17, of Aurora, died Saturday, September 23, 2006, at Memorial Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, September 26th at Faith Community Church in Aurora. Revs. Fred Nofer and Lonnie Ott will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: ANJELA MARTINEZ

Anjela Elizabeth Martinez, the daughter of Alfredo Contreras and Nikkol Dawn (Ott) Martinez, was born in Grand Island, Nebraska on July 21, 1989 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on September 23, 2006, at the age of 17.

Anjela grew up in Aurora, where she was raised by her great-grandparents, Marvin and Leola Ott. She attended Aurora Public School, where she enjoyed her classes in the Elementary Life Skills Center. Anjela enjoyed her outings with them going swimming and bowling.

Anjela attended Faith Community Church in Aurora.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Marilyn Jean Hornby, and twin sisters, Diamond Pearl and Ruby Emerald.

Those left to cherish her memory are her great-grandparents, Marvin and Leola Ott of Aurora and Bob and Norma Hornby; grandparents, Pam Robledo, Terry and Linda Ott and James and Janet Malone; brothers, Adrian Martinez and Dante Martinez both of Evans, CO; sisters, Myrea Martinez of Evans, CO, Brianna Martinez of Grand Island and Jelena Martinez of Evans, CO.
