McDermott LaReah McDermott, the daughter of J.A. “Pete” and Ona (Brown) Oberg, was born at Scottsbluff, Nebraska, on May 7, 1918, and passed away at Denver, Colorado, on July 17, 1987, at the age of 69 years, 2 months, and 10 days. She was united in marriage to Dale McDermott on November 16, 1941 at Olathe, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sandra Dee Struensee of Broomfield, Colorado and Vicki C. VanSwearingen of Littleton, Colorado; brother, John Oberg of Omaha; sisters, June Falk of Palm Desert, California, Martha DeZuba of Longmont, Colorado, Alberta McCabe of Riverside, Illinois and Agnes (Berdean) Kohtz of Hampton and 6 grandchildren. |
