Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 28, 1984 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Edward W. Miller

Edward W. Miller, the son of John P. and Margaret K. Miller, was born on April 18, 1910 in Stockham, Nebraska and passed away at Lincoln, Nebraska on March 25, 1984, at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 7 days. His death followed a short illness.

He attended District 85 school in Hamilton County. After spending several years in California, he returned to Aurora where he farmed until his death.

On January 1, 1942, he was united in marriage to Lorene Dorothy Tolin in Las Vegas, Nevada. To this union were born three children, 2 sons John Edward and Gerald Lee and one daughter Sharon Kay.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Sharon and son Gerald and one brother, Alfred.

He is survived by his wife, Lorene; one son, John Edward of Sutton, Nebraska; one granddaughter, Kirsten Elizabeth Miller; one grandson, Peter Jay Miller; three brothers, Kenneth of Columbus, Nebraska, and Emil and LeRoy both of Aurora; two sisters, Mrs. Pauline McConaughey and Mrs. Tena Schaffert both of Aurora; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and many close friends, who will cherish his memory.
