Elva MillerFuneral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 22, 1997 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITURARY: Elva Miller Elva Ruth Miller, the daughter of William and Eva (Petet) McCullough, was born at Temple, Texas, on June 27, 1943, and died at Grand Island, Nebraska, on December 19, 1997, at the age of 54 years, 5 months, and 22 days. She grew up and graduated from Aurora High School. In March of 1962, she was married to William Freeman for several years. She owned and operated a beauty shop in Sargent. On September 9, 1983, she married Zach Miller at Grand Island. They resided in Grand Island, and she retired from the Nebraska Veteran’s Home in 1986. Elva was a member of the Aurora First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and grand parents. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband Zach of Grand Island; one son Bill Freeman of Grand Island; 3 step-sons, Richard Miller of Kearney, Mike Miller of Holdrege and Jimmy Miller; 2 daughters, Chris Freeman of Lincoln, and Brenda (Larry) Addison of Phillips; a step-daughter Nancy Miller; 2 brothers, Lee McCullough of Kearney, and John McCullough of Central City; a sister Nancy Nealon of Red Oak, Iowa; her father-in-law Perry Miller of Broken Bow; 2 grandchildren, and 14 step-grandchildren. |
