Mildred Miller

Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Friday, October 23, 1998 at the Aurora Assembly of God Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Mildred Miller

Mildred Mae Miller, the daughter of Christ and Petra (Petersen) Miller, was born at Farwell, Nebraska, on August 10, 1930, and died while vacationing at Springfield, Missouri, on October 19, 1998, at the age of 68 years, 2 months, and 9 days.

She grew up and attended school at Farwell, and then cared for her ailing mother at St. Paul, until her death in 1955. Later, she was employed as a telephone operator in Grand Island.

On February 17, 1963, she was united in marriage to Raymond Miller at Osceola, Nebraska. They lived in Osceola, where she was employed as a nurses’ aid at the hospital. In 1969, they moved to Aurora, and she worked as a cook at the Aurora Public Schools. For the past 15 years, she was the head cook at The Leadership Center in Aurora.

Mildred was a member of the Aurora Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband Raymond of Aurora; two sons, Richard and his wife Lena of Central City, and Nathanael and his wife Marcia of Aurora; one daughter Susan Miller of Elkhorn; and four grandchildren, Nicolas and Jennifer Miller and Stephen and Remington Miller, and nieces and nephews.
