OBITAURY: Robert Miller Robert Miller, the son of John and Laura (Anderson) Miller, was born at Aurora, Nebraska, on September 3, 1903, and passed away at Knoxville, Iowa, on March 16, 1986, at the age of 82 years, 6 months, and 13 days. Robert farmed near Aurora until 1945 when he moved Pleasantville, Iowa where he farmed and trucked. He was united in marriage to Mildred Wagoner on May 5, 1938 at Leona, Kansas. Robert was a member of the United Methodist Church in Pleasantville. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter, 3 sisters and 1 brother. Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife, Mildred; son, Robert D. Miller of Pleasantville, Iowa; 3 daughters, Dorlene Carr of Pleasantville, Iowa, Dorothy Miller of Hennessey, Oklahoma and Donna Zelmer of Johnston, Iowa; sister, Laura Joyner of Wemberly, Texas and 10 grandchildren. |
