John Moderow

Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, March 18, 1993 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: John Moderow

John Kevin Moderow, the son of Melbourne and Virginia (Vinkenberg) Moderow, was born at Aurora, Nebraska, on November 10, 1965, and died near Cheyenne, Wyoming, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle collision, at the age of 28 years, 4 months, and 5 days.

He grew up at Marquette, where he attended school. In 1981, he moved to York, and was employed at the Waco Car and Truck Stop. When it was purchased by Burns Bros., he continued working for them, and became restaurant manager. For the past two years, he had lived in the Cheyenne area, and managed Burns Bros. Truck Stop Restaurant, at Burns, Wyoming.

He was preceded in death by a sister Laurie Moderow.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his daughter, Kendra Marie Moderow, of Burns, Wyoming; 2 brothers, Bob of Hastings, and Ron of Omaha; 2 sisters, Pat King of Grand Island, and Sue Polzkill of York, and his parents, Melbourne and Virginia Moderow of Marquette.
