James Moore

James Trimble Moore, age 94, formerly of Chicago, died Saturday, March 13, 2010 in Aurora, Nebraska.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 17, at Pleasant View Bible Church, 307 Manor Drive, Aurora, NE 68818 with Rev. Paul Nauman officiating. Private family burial will be at 9:00 a.m. at the Aurora Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 16 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Pleasant View Bible Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to North Love Baptist Church, 5301 E. Riverside Blvd., Rockford, IL 61114 or Pleasant View Bible Church. Obituary: JAMES TRIMBLE MOORE

Mr. Moore was born November 18, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois to the Rev. Robert and Margaret Moore and was the seventh of 10 children. He was married to Ruth Barth on November 18, 1939. He is survived by his wife, Ruth, daughters Marilynn (Ron) Helms of Palatine, IL, Janice (Ron) Boud of Jackson, TN, Sandra Main of Detroit, MI and Doris (Paul) Huenefeld of Aurora, NE; nine grandchildren, Brackston (Monica) Helms, Chad (Amy) Helms, Evert (Rebecca) Main, Andra Main, Hannah (Dalane) Epp, Bethany (Robert) Honken, Heidi (Jan Michael) Beran, James Huenefeld and Gracia Huenefeld and 14 great-grandchildren.

He retired from Wells Manufacturing Company, Skokie/Woodstock, Illinois after 45 years. He devoted his life to service for his Lord through his work with the Gospel Couriers, Pacific Garden Mission, churches in Rockford and Chicago suburbs, and Awana Youth Association where he served on the board for over 35 years. He will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his ready smile, his servant’s heart, and his unwavering faith in his Savior, Jesus Christ.
