Janna (Moore) Morin, age 28, of Omaha, died Tuesday, December 8, 2009, in Omaha.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 12th at the Abundant Life Christian Worship Center, 3411 West Faidley Avenue in Grand Island. Rev. Paul Nauman will officiate. A Private family burial will be held. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Friday at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of the Janna Moore Memorial Fund at First National Bank in Omaha. OBITUARY: JANNA (MOORE) MORIN

Janna Lea (Moore) Morin, the daughter of Jon and Melinda (Montelongo) Moore, was born in Aurora, Nebraska on March 31, 1981 and died on December 8, 2009 at Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 28.

Janna grew up in Aurora and graduated from Aurora High School in 2000. She graduated from the College of Hair Design in Lincoln. Janna worked at the following salons in Lincoln: Utopia, Dove Shannon, Salon Monroe, XY Hair Studio and Salon Vibe. She met John Morin, her future husband, while working in Lincoln. Janna spent two years in San Diego, where she was employed by M.A.C. Cosmetics and then, Hairdrezzers on Fire, a high-end salon to the stars. Janna returned to Nebraska early this year, and married John, October 4,2009. Upon returning to Omaha, she worked at Reaction Salon and most recently at Von Maur.

Janna loved her family. She had a love for high fashion and photography. She always had a camera. As a hair stylist, Janna developed her own style that became popular. She was in demand wherever she went.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Santos Montelongo.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, John Morin of Omaha; parents, Jon and Melinda Moore of Aurora; brother, Jason (Becky) Moore of Lincoln and their three sons, Trenton, Nicholas and Trey; sister, Melissa (Troy) Bonifas of Blue Hill and daughter, Aidyn; brother, Matt Moore of Los Angeles, California; grandparents, Carl and Anna Marie Moore of Aurora; grandmother, Maria Montelongo of Aurora and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
