Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 3, 1997 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Agnes Nelsen

Agnes Gertrude Nelsen, the daughter of Hans and Meta (Johansen) Nielsen, was born in rural Hampton, Nebraska, on June 23, 1900, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on June 1, 1997, at the age of 96 years, 11 months, and 8 days.

She grew up and received her education at Hampton. For 25 years, she was employed as a laboratory technician in the test room, at the Aurora Creamery. In 1990, she entered the Hamilton Manor in Aurora.

Agnes was a member of the Hampton United Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Magnus, Henry, and John Nelsen; 4 sisters Ella Petersen, Anna Marie Petersen, Mabel Nelson, and Lillie Gustafson.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.
