Edith NelsonFuneral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 5, 1993 at the Aurora Evangelical Covenant Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Edith Nelson Edith C. Nelson, the daughter of David and Selma (Carlson) Nelson, was born near Aurora, Nebraska, on October 20, 1905, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on October 2, 1993, at the age of 87 years, 11 months, and 12 days. She was raised on the family farm and attended country school. She lived on the farm until the death of her brother Roy, when she moved into Aurora. For the past several years she has resided at the Hamilton Manor in Aurora. Edith was a long time member of the Aurora Evangelical Covenant Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Roy, and 2 sisters, Florence Nelson and Alice Olson. She is survived by 4 nephews, Rev. Vernon Olson of Denver, Colorado, Dr. Wayne Olson of Fairfax, Virginia, Rev. Don Olson of Phillip, South Dakota, and John Olson of Aurora. |
