Zoe NielsenFuneral Services were held 10:00 A.M., Friday, February 18, 1994 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Zoe Nielsen Zoe Nielsen, the daughter of Walda and Amelia (Davis) Tull, was born on September 12, 1904, in Beaver City, Utah, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on February 16, 1994, at the age of 89 years, 5 months, and 4 days. As a young girl her family moved to Aurora, and she graduated from Aurora High School with the class of 1923, after attending college she taught school. On March 12, 1926, she was united in marriage to Benjamin Nielsen at Aurora. He preceded her in death on August 3, 1983. Zoe was a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church, where she had taught Sunday School. She was also an avid bridge player and had belonged to a bridge club which has been in existence for 50 years this year. She also wrote articles for the Capper’s Weekly and other magazines. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sons, Robert and Don, and one daughter Betty Nielsen; one brother Norvel Tull, a sister Louise Chapman, and an infant sister. |
