Hulda NolanFuneral Services were held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 27, 1991 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Hulda Nolan Hulda Amanda Nolan was born October 4, 1905, the daughter of Erick A. Nilson and Hulda M. (Erickson) Nilson, on the family farm northeast of Marquette, in Hamilton County, Nebraska. She passed away on Monday, April 22, 1991, in Omaha, Nebraska. She attended public school near Marquette and graduated from the Aurora High School. She continued her education at Kearney State Teachers College and went on to the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Omaha, where she earned the degree of registered nurse. She pursued her nursing profession in Omaha and in California prior to her marriage. On January 21,k 1937, she was united in marriage to George Arthur Nolan, in Lincoln, Nebraska. They had two sons. She was a full time homemaker. She was a faithful member of the Westminister Presbyterian Church, 3416 Woolworth Avenue, in Omaha. She had a lifelong interest in music. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, who died on February 3, 1987, her parents, four brothers: Charles Nilson, Victor Nilson, Oscar Nilson, and Arthur Edward Nilson; and one sister, Esther McMahon. She leaves to mourn her passing, her two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard A. Nolan and Anna Nolan; William G. Nolan and Marie Nolan, and one granddaughter, Amanda Jane Nolan; one brother, Arthur Nilson, and four sisters, Lydia Magnuson, Edith Hansen, Hannah Hansen, and Artha Nilson; nieces and nephews, and many friends. |
