Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Friday, October 8, 1993 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Stockham Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Eva Nuss

Eva Belle Nuss, the daughter of William and Hattie (Townsley) Salmon, was born near Stockham, Nebraska, on August 22, 1899, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on October 5, 1993, at the age of 94 years, 1 month, and 13 days.

She attended Verona District #5 school near Stockham.

On October 19, 1927, she was united in marriage to Edwin Nuss, at Lincoln. He preceded her in death on March 25, 1978.

Eva worked as a nurse’s aide in the Sutton and Aurora Hospitals. She was a member of the Verona Willing Workers. Her favorite past time was crocheting.

She was a member of the Aurora Pleasant View Bible Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 brothers, Wallace and Merle Salmon; and one sister, Marie Nuss.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her daughter, Marie Swartz and her husband Don of Central City; 2 grand daughters, and 2 great grandchildren; a niece Mary Ann Nuss of Hollister, Missouri, other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
