Nathan Nuss

Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, March 4, 1987 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Stockham Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Nathan Nuss

Nathan Nuss, the son of Gustav and Margaret (Schwarz) Nuss, was born at Sutton, Nebraska, on April 9, 1907, and passed away at Superior, Nebraska, on March 2, 1987, at the age of 79 years, 10 months, and 22 days.

He was born and lived on a farm north of Sutton until moving to Hamilton County in 1933. He farmed in Hamilton County until retiring in 1973, when he moved to Red Cloud, Nebraska.

Nathan attended Public School through the 8th grade in Clay County District #16, and attended German School in Clay County. He was a member of the Harvard Saddle Club for 5 years.

On February 20, 1934, he was united in marriage to Ruby Marie Salmon at Lincoln, Nebraska. She preceded him in death on February 15, 1935.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and one brother, Edwin Nuss.

Those who survive to cherish his memory are his daughter, Mary Ann Nuss of Red Cloud; one brother, Robert of Lincoln; 3 sisters, Olga Carlson of Lincoln, Clarice Griess of Sutton, and Gertrude Lakin of Crowley, Texas, and nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
