Funeral Services were held 2:30 P.M., Monday, February 18, 1991 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Lucile Olson

Iola Lucile Olson, the daughter of Maro and Lillian (Pollard) Matthews, was born at Loup City, Nebraska, on July 14, 1908, and passed away at Lincoln, Nebraska, on February 15, 1991, at the age of 82 years, 7 months, and 1 day.

Her family moved to Aurora, when she was at an early age, and she attended Aurora Schools.

On June 9, 1928,m she was united in marriage to Ralph D. Olson, at Lincoln. They resided in Aurora, where Ralph was in business, until they moved to Lincoln in 1984.

Lucile was a member of the Aurora Christian Church, and was active in the church activities. She had also belonged to the Rebecca Lodge. She enjoyed gardening and decorating cakes.

Lucile was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband Ralph of Lincoln; one daughter, Shirley Maddox and her husband Gerald of Lincoln; 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
