Funeral Services were held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 5, 1999 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Aurora. Interment was held in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Agatha Orendorff

Agnes Agatha Orendorff, the daughter of Peter and Frances (Wickless) Orendorff, was born at Marquette, Nebraska, on April 7, 1906, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on December 31, 1998, at the age of 92 years, 8 months, and 24 days.

She grew up and graduated from Marquette High School in 1924, and in 1929, she moved to Aurora with her parents.

She was a supervisor of the W.P.A. Sewing Room from 1938, until 1941, when she began working for NPPD Public Power electric company. She retired in 1969 after 28 years of services.

She resided at Crossroads Court in Aurora, and in 1994, she entered the Hamilton Manor in Aurora.

She was a long time member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Aurora.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, John, Leonard, and Clarence Orendorff; 4 sisters, Gertrude Herbig, Lyola Larson, Frances Strotman, and Marguerite Budler.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.
