Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, April 21, 1998 at the Aurora Pleasant View Bible Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Albert Oswald

Albert Kemper Oswald, the son of Daniel and Eda Adelia (Bald) Oswald, was born on a farmstead southwest of Aurora, Nebraska, on September 28, 1903, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on April 18, 1998, at the age of 94 years, 6 months, and 20 days.

He grew up and received his education near his birthplace.

On September 9, 1930, he was united in marriage to Anna Bachman at Washington, Illinois. She preceded him in death on March 3, 1998. After their marriage they farmed southwest of Aurora until they moved into Aurora in 1972. Albert entered the Hamilton Manor in Aurora on August 19, 1991.

Albert was an active member of the Aurora Pleasant View Bible Church since 1916. He was also a member of the R.E.A. board for 30 years, had served on the Aurora Memorial Hospital Board for 24 years, and was a Plainsman Museum Board member for a number of years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers Willis and Edwin, and one great granddaughter.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his two sons David and his wife Delores, and Louis “Buzz” and his wife Lillian; one sister Freda Springer and her husband Albert, all of Aurora; 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
