Funeral Services were held 12:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 19, 1983 at Pleasant View Bible Church in Aurora. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Earl Oswald

Earl John Oswald, the son of John C. and Sue S. (Schenk) Oswald, was born at Aurora, Nebraska, on May 14, 1913, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on May 17, 1983 at the age of 70 years and 3 days.

He grew up in Aurora and graduated from Aurora High School.

Following his graduation he farmed all his life near Aurora.

Earl was united in marriage to Margie Augspurger at Aurora, Nebraska on December 23, 1934.

He was a member of the Pleasant View Bible Church.

Earl was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, John.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his sons, James Oswald of Aurora and Ron Oswald of Fresno, California; daughter Kerry Sue Twist of Hillsboro, Oregon; sisters, Dorothy Troyer of Aurora and Bessie Springer of Aurora; father, John and 10 grandchildren.
