Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, August 17, 1995 at Pleasant View Bible Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Joseph Oswald

Joseph Harold Oswald, the son of Harold and Esther (Smith) Oswald, was born at Aurora, Nebraska, on March 24, 1944, and died at his home in Lincoln, Nebraska, on August 11, 1995, at the age of 51 years, 4 months, and 17 days.

He grew up in Aurora, attended Aurora Schools, and graduated with the class of 1962. He then attended Kearney State College for one year. He served his country in the Air Force from April 20, 1965 until his discharge on November 18, 1968, and served in Duluth, Minnesota and Panama. After his discharge he returned to Aurora for a time.

For the past 17 years, he has been employed at the Canteen Vending Service in Lincoln.

He had been a member of the Aurora Pleasant View Bible Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Richard Oswald.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his brother Walter and his wife Pat; his sister Mary Bierbower and her husband John of Aurora, nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
