Paul Oswald

Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, November 22, 1997 at the Aurora Pleasant View Bible Church. Interment was held in the Pleasant View Cemetery southwest of Aurora.

OBITUARY: Paul Oswald

Paul R. Oswald, the son of Aaron and Caroline (Rupp) Oswald, was born at Aurora, Nebraska, on February 11, 1915, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on November 19, 1997, at the age of 82 years, 9 months, and 8 days.

He grew up and received his education near Aurora, and graduated from Aurora High School.

On December 7, 1939, he was united in marriage to Inez Schlatter, at Wayland, Iowa. She preceded him in death on March 21, 1989. They farmed west of Aurora all their married life, and in 1976, they retired and moved into Aurora.

Paul was a member of the Aurora Pleasant View Bible Church, and belonged to the Gideons International.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his son Val and his wife Carol of Aurora; his daughter Karen White and her husband Ed of Rockford, Illinois, and 3 grandchildren, Chad and Aaron Oswald and Allen White.
