Lloyd OttFuneral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Friday, January 5, 1996 at the Giltner United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Giltner Cemetery. OBITUARY: Lloyd Ott Lloyd Ott, the son of Henry and Katie (Pankratz) Ott, was born at Henderson, Nebraska, on February 14, 1929, and died suddenly at Aurora, Nebraska, on January 2, 1996 at the age of 66 years, 10 months, and 18 days. He grew up and attended school in Henderson. On May 29, 1951, he was united in marriage to Cherie Maw, at Grand Island, Nebraska. He lived in Giltner most of his life, where he worked in the grain elevator business in Giltner, Trumbull, and Hastings. Lloyd was a member of the Giltner United Methodist Church, and belonged to the Eagles, Platt-Duetsche, and Isaak Walton League. He enjoyed playing the guitar and other musical instruments, and singing. His hobbies included fishing and camping. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Henry and Rueben Ott; and a sister Anna Henry. Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Cherie of Giltner; 2 sons Lloyd Craig Ott of Grand Island and Mark Ott of Safford, Arizona; one daughter Tammy Seiser of Grand Island; 3 brothers, Wilbur of Giltner, Herman of Blountstown, Florida, and Freeman of Trumbull; 2 sisters, Frieda Dunlap of Blountstown, Florida and Erma Claire of Granada Hills, California; and 2 grandchildren, Calvin and Katie Seiser. |
