Funeral Services were held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 7, 1990 at the Aurora Evangelical Covenant Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Edna Palmberg

Edna Emma Palmberg, the daughter of Jens Peter and Inez (Emal) Ebert, was born at Funk, Nebraska, on February 21, 1919, and passed away peacefully, at her home in Aurora, Nebraska, on February 4, 1990, at the age of 70 years, 11 months, and 13 days.

As a child, her family moved to Marquette, and she graduated from Marquette High School. They lived in Iowa and Norman, Nebraska for a short time and then returned to Aurora, and she worked in a sewing center.

On April 25, 1941, she was united in marriage to Einer Palmberg at Aurora. They lived in Aurora before moving to a farm north west of Aurora in 1953. In 1964, they retired and moved into Aurora.

Edna was a member of the Aurora Evangelical Covenant Church, and belonged to the Covenant Women. She also loved sports and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Dale, and one sister Donnice Kissel.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband Einer of Aurora; 2 sons, Merle of St. Paul and Glenn of Olathe, Kansas; one daughter Jeanette Ferguson of Broken Bow; 7 sisters, Norma Rae McKeehan of Los Gatos, California, Linnea Green of Aurora, Zelda Bush of Lincoln, Mildred Noble of Mina, Nevada, Marian Blaylock of Winnemucka, Nevada, Irma Madison of Donnelly, Minnesota, and Ina Jo Meyer of Albert Lee, Minnesota; 5 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
