Einer Palmberg

Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, May 16, 1992 at the Aurora Evangelical Covenant Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Einer Palmberg

Einger Richard Palmberg, the son of Rev. Carl and Amanda (Sutherland) Palmberg, was born at Lanyon, Iowa, on October 3, 1907, and died at Aurora, Nebaska, on May 14, 1992, at the age of 84 years, 7 months, and 11 days.

In November of 1907 the family moved to Buffalo, Minnesota, and in 1911, they moved to Stromsburg, in 1915, the family moved to Hebron. In 1926 Einer moved to Chicago and in 1928, to Lincoln, where he worked for Wholesale Auto Supply Company. From Lincoln, Einer moved to Aurora where he started Palmberg Auto Supply.

On April 25, 1941, he was united in marriage to Edna Ebert, at Aurora. She preceded him in death on February 4, 1990. After their marriage, they lived in Aurora. In 1953, Einer began farming, and eventually established their home on the farm northwest of Aurora. In 1964, he retired from farming and moved into Aurora, where he went into Auto Sales and eventually worked for Stan Allen Motors.

Einer was a longtime member of the Aurora Evangelical Covenant Church. He was instrumental in establishing Covenant Cedars Bible Camp, near Hordville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Edna; 4 brothers, Oscar, Carl, Edwin and Elmer; 3 sisters, Ruth Radcliff, Ida Larson, and Esther Elge.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are 2 sons, Merle of St. Paul and Glenn of Bellevue, Washington, and one daughter, Jeanette Ferguson of Broken Bow; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
