Anna Parpart

Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 15, 1993 at Zion Lutheran Church in Hampton. Interment was held in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Anna Parpart

Anna Frieda Parpart, the daughter of Henry and Anna (Otte) Driewer, was born near Hampton, Nebraska, on October 26, 1910, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on May 12, 1993, at the age of 82 years, 6 months, and 16 days.

She attended Zion North School, and later worked as a house keeper in York and Kearney.

On March 3, 1935, she was united in marriage to Raymond Parpart at the Hampton Zion Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on May 12, 1992. After their marriage they moved 2 miles west of the home and farmed there for 5 years, and then returned to Raymond’s home place which has been in the family for over 100 years. In 1983, they moved into their home in Hampton.

Anna was a member of the Hampton Zion Lutheran Church, and belonged to Zion Ladies Aid and the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. She also taught Sunday School and was active in the church choir.

She loved flowers and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 6 brothers, Ernest, Otto, Karl, Arthur, Werner, and Gerhard Driewer, and one sister Erna Krenke.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her 2 daughters, Juline Bonderson of LaMesa, California and Luree Wiese of Lincoln; one brother Henry Driewer of Hebron; 2 sisters, Dorothea Mendenhall of Longview, Washington, and Erma Nelson of Galesburg, Illinois, and one grand daughter Anne Bonderson.
