LaRae Pearson

LaRae Pearson, age 54, of Aurora, died Sunday, August 10, 2003, at Memorial Hospital in Aurora.

OBITUARY: LARAE PEARSON

LaRae Elaine Pearson, the daughter of Leo E. and Vivian Ruth (Ehlers) Schleif, was born in Superior, Nebraska on June 21, 1949 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on August 10, 2003, at the age of 54.

She graduated from Davenport High School in 1967. LaRae was a homemaker for 12 years before she went to work at hospitals in Aurora, Kearney and Hastings. In 1993, LaRae began working as a Communications Assistant for Nebraska Relay Service at Hamilton Telecommunications in Aurora.

LaRae was a volunteer for Hospice from 1993-99 and the Literacy Council from 1999-2002. Her nieces and nephew were the highlight of her life.

Those left to cherish her memory are her father Leo Schleif of Davenport; mother, Vivian Schleif of Red Cloud; two sisters, JaDell Woolman and her husband Gary of Hampton and LaJolla Thiel and her husband William of Oak Harbor, Washington; brother, Shaun Schleif and his wife Jay of Grand Island and her nieces and nephew.
