Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Friday, July 5, 1985 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kronborg. Interment was held in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Ritchie Lynn Petersen

Ritchie Lynn Petersen, the son of Roger and Rita (Huebert) Petersen, was born at Grand Island, Nebraska, on October 26, 1967, and passed away at Marquette, Nebraska, on July 2, 1985, at the age of 17 years, 8 months and 6 days.

His entire lifetime was spent in the Marquette area where he attended school and had just completed his junior year of high school.

Ritchie was very active in sports and loved to play football. He was on the Student Council and was a member of the Spirit Club. His hobbies were skiing and fishing.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kronborg and belonged to the Luther League.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Huebert and Kroeker.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his parents, Roger and Rita Petersen; one brother, Ryan Allen Petersen; one sister Renee Ann Petersen, both at home; his grandparents, Chris and Evelyn Petersen and grandmother Vi Kroeker; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and school mates.
