OBITUARY: Florence Peterson

Florence Peterson, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. David Hiebert, was born at Hampton, Nebraska, on May 23, 1913, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on December 24, 1991, at the age of 78 years, 7 months, and 1 day.

She grew up at Hampton, where she received her schooling.

On July 21, 1935, she was united in marriage to Clarence Peterson. He preceded her in death on September 22, 1963.

After their marriage they lived on a farm between Aurora and Marquette. In 1963, she moved into Aurora where she operated the Virginian Rooming House, until 1980. She had also worked at the Hamilton Manor in the 1960’s and at Larson’s Pioneer Home in the 1970’s.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and 3 sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Arlys Peterson of Grand Island.
