Angela Pilkington
Angie Pilkington, age 32, of Aurora died Saturday, June 19, 2004, at her home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 22nd at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Aurora. Pastor Sheryl Kester Beyer and Pastor Dean Baer will officiate. Interment will be in the Prospect Hill Cemetery near Elkhorn at 1:00 P.M. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. OBITUARY: ANGELA PILKINGTON Angela Michelle Pilkington, the daughter of Marlyn and Zelda (Witzel) Larson, was born at Nevada, Iowa on October 19, 1971 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on June 19, 2004, at the age of 32. Angie grew up in Ankeny, Iowa where she graduated from Ankeny High School in 1990, from there she earned a degree in Elementary Education from Iowa State University in 1994. Angie was united in marriage to Douglas Mark Pilkington on November 19, 1994, at Ankeny, Iowa. Angie was a substitute teacher for a few years in Sheldon, Iowa and Elkhorn, Nebraska before they moved to Aurora. She was a Kindergarten teacher at Central City Community Schools before becoming a full time homemaker and mother to her children. Angie was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church, Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and the Zeta Iota Beta Sigma Sorority. She loved to play with her children, read to her children, go on family camping trips, spend time with family, and be with friends. Angie liked to read, shop, make crafts and decorate for the holidays. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Vernon Larson, Howard Witzel and Francis and Mabel Shorey. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Doug; three children, Adrian Angela Pilkington, Calvin Douglas Pilkington and Alice Davis Pilkington all of Aurora, Nebraska; her parents, Marlyn and Zelda Larson of Ankeny, Iowa; sister, Jennifer Janvrin of Elkhorn, Nebraska; brother, Mark Larson of Dillingham, Alaska and grandmother, Mildred Larson of Iowa Falls, Iowa. |
