George PillardA Memorial Service was held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 18, 1986 at Higby Mortuary. OBITUARY: George Pillard George Pillard, the son of Louis and Evaline (Bartholomew) Pillard, was born at Hampton, Nebraska, on February 23, 1895, and passed away at Hot Springs, Arkansas, on January 9, 1986 at the age of 90. George was united in marriage to Esther Peterson on January 14, 1917 at Aurora, Nebraska. George farmed in Grant, Nebraska for 17 years before he moved to Denver, Colorado where he was a contractor for 23 years. Following he retirement they moved to Anaheim, California in 1960. They then moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas in 1984. Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife, Esther, of Hot Springs, Arkansas; sons, Eugene and Frank, both of Hot Springs, Arkansas; sister, Grace Lewis of Aurora; 8 grandchildren and nephews, Ken and Don Herbig of Aurora. |
