Michael Pohl
Michael Pohl, 46, of Aurora, died Monday, May 10, 2010 at Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 13th at the Assembly of God Church in Aurora. Rev. Jim Garfield will officiate. Interment will be at the Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 - 8 P.M. Wednesday at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary. Pohl, the son of Gerald and Patricia Pohl was born on June 18, 1963 at Aurora, Nebraska and died on May 10, 2010 at Aurora, Nebraska at the age of 46. Michael grew up and attended school in Aurora. He later received his G.E.D. and served in the U.S. Army during Peace Time. After the service, he moved to Colorado to work and live with his uncle. Michael married Tammy Waterman and they had three children: Jessica, Shaun and Devin. He went to work for Chief Industries in Grand Island. Michael worked in the Fabrication Division for 16 years, where he was currently lead person. Michael married Brenda Cole on June 30, 2006 in Grand Island. Michael loved NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, and spending time going fishing. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; aunt, Deloris ‘Toot’ Pohl and two uncles, Dennis and Don Pohl. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Brenda Pohl of Aurora; three children, Jessica (Steve) Sutton, Shaun Pohl and Devin Pohl all of Grand Island; four step-children, Nathan Wurdeman of Grand Island, Blake, Christopher and Cassandra Cole all of Aurora; parents, Gerald and Patricia Pohl of Aurora; brother, Troy (Christy) Pohl of Omaha; sisters, Kimberly Pohl and Kristi (Rod) Perry all of Aurora and grandchildren, Trevonte Harris, London Sutton and an unborn granddaughter on the way |
