Carl Pohl

Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, July 16, 1983 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Aurora. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Carl Pohl

Carl Julius Pohl, the son of Carl and Emelia (Parppalt) Pohl, was born at Olpe, Kansas, on February 2, 1907, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on July 13, 1983, at the age of 76 years, 5 months and 11 days.

He grew up in Kansas and moved to the Hampton area as a young man.

On September 18, 1933, he was united in marriage to Bernice Dadey at Hampton. She preceded him in death on April 20, 1979.

After their marriage they moved back to Olpe, Kansas. In 1943 they moved to a farm near Phillips and in 1957 to a farm south of Aurora. In 1974 they moved into Aurora.

Carl was a faithful member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Aurora and he enjoyed doing work around the church.

Those who preceded him in death were his parents, his wife Bernice, infant son Daryl and 12 brothers and sisters.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are three sons, Donald of Denver, Colorado, Gerald and Dennis both of Aurora; three daughters, Delores and Connie Pohl of Aurora and Carol Kaisler of Grand Island; 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and other relatives and close friends.
