Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, September 21, 1993 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Aurora. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Lillian Pohl

Lillian Helen Pohl, the daughter of William and Edith (Matthes) Ryder, was born at Aurora, Nebraska, on September 28, 1915, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on September 18, 1993, at the age of 77 years, 11 months, and 20 days.

She attended Aurora Public Schools.

On September 6, 1936, she was united in marriage to Martin Pohl at Hampton. They lived in the Giltner area.

For 22 years she was employed at Gail’s Studio in Aurora, and after it was closed she worked at the Memorial Hospital in Aurora for 9 years. After retirement she enjoyed having time to do many sewing crafts. For the past several years she and her husband had resided at the Hamilton Manor in Aurora.

Lillian was a member of the Aurora First Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Mabel Ryder.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband Martin of Aurora; 3 sisters, Hazel Ott and Marie Ott and her husband Wilbur, all of Giltner, and Dorothy Ryder of Aurora; and many nieces and nephews.
