Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 19, 1988 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Myron Pollat

Myron Albert Pollat, the son of John and Josephine (Vorrel) Pollat, was born in Dawson County, near Cozad, Nebraska on July 24, 1906, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on May 16, 1988, at the age of 81 years, 9 months and 22 days.

He was raised at Walnut Grove and attended Walnut Grove School, and graduated from Gothenburg High School. He then lived in Omaha for a period of years.

On May 31, 1933, he was united in marriage to Elsie Peterjohn, at Lexington. They lived near Cozad, and Myron was engaged in farming. In 1955, they returned to Omaha where he was an insurance adjuster for St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company. In 1960, he retired and moved to Aurora, and made his home at the farm.

Myron was a member of the Aurora Presbyterian Church of Christ, and was also a member of the Centennial Masonic Lodge #326 of Omaha, was a Scottish Rite 32nd degree Mason, and belonged to the Tangier Shrine in Omaha.

His parents and brothers and sisters preceded him in death.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Elsie; one son Erin of Aurora; one daughter Mrs. Ted (Gloria) Lindberg of Minneapolis, Minnesota; one sister Ledo Sedlacek of Omaha; and two granddaughters, Elsie and Kristine.
