Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 23, 1986 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Anna Louise (Ulrey) Powell

Anna Louise (Ulrey) Powell, the daughter of Elmer and Lucille (Campbell) Ulrey, was born at Colby, Kansas, on June 13, 1943, and passed away on January 20, 1986, of cancer, at Aurora Memorial Hospital, Aurora, Nebraska, at the age of 42 years, 7 months, and 7 days.

She moved to Loveland, Colorado, in 1977, and was a teacher’s aid at Big Thompson Elementary School and was employed by Hewlett-Packard until 1983. She spoke at churches and schools about dealing with cancer.

Anna was a member of the Church of Christ, being baptized at the age of 17.

She was preceded in death by her brother Robert Ulrey.

Those who survive to cherish her memory are one son, Robert E. Powell, and one daughter, Kathy A. Powell, both of Loveland, Colorado; a brother, Lyle R. Ulrey of Ft. Riley, Kansas; her parents, Elmer and Lucille Ulrey, of Aurora, and her grandmother, Nora Thompson, of LaSalle, Colorado.
