Carol Prosser
Carol Prosser, age 82, of Aurora, died, Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Memorial Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 1st at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Hampton. Rev. David Dobbertein will officiate. Inurnment will be at Fort McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell at 3:00 P.M. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. OBITUARY: CAROL PROSSER Carol Jean Prosser, the daughter of Wesley and Rose (Teeple) Hiller, was born in Robbinsdale, Minnesota on September 3, 1927 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on November 21, 2009, at the age of 82. Carol grew in Robbinsdale where she graduate from High School and attended the University of Minnesota for several years in their Nursing Program Carol was united in marriage to Clark Harvey Prosser on February 1, 1949, at Northwood, Iowa. They lived in Anaheim, San Diego, California, and Minneapolis, Minnesota before moving to Aurora. Carol worked as a housekeeper at Bethesda Nursing Home. Clark passed away on May 7, 1995. Carol was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, bird watching, gardening and taking trips. Carol loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and grandson, Shawn Prosser. Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Clark (Vicky) Prosser of Mount View, Minnesota, Curtis (Cindy) Prosser of Grand Island and Cary (Cynthia) Prosser of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Dr. Paul Hiller of Golden Valley, Minnesota and sister, Barbara Wolner of Mound, Minnesota. |
