Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 26, 1993 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kronborg, Nebraska. Interment was held in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Harold Rasmussen

Harold J. Rasmussen, the son of R.C. and Johanna (Lollike) Rasmussen, was born near Marquette, Nebraska, on October 27, 1899, and died at St. Paul, Nebraska, on May 23, 1993, at the age of 93 years, 6 months, and 26 days.

He received his education in the rural school near his home, and farmed in Hamilton County most of his life. In 1985, he left the farm, and has since resided in several nursing homes.

He was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Kronborg, and had served on the church board.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, Peter, Fred, Walter, and Otto; 2 sisters, Anna Rasmussen and Clara Hermansen, and 4 infant brothers and sisters.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his sister, Johanna Stauning of Minneapolis, Minnesota, 2 sisters-in-law, Clara Rasmussen and Thyra Rasmussen, both of Aurora, and nieces and nephews.
