Margo Rauert

Margo Rauert, age 53, of Aurora, died Monday, July 28, 2003, at Memorial Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, July 31st at the Messiah Lutheran Church. Rev. Sheryl Kester Beyer will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary. Family will receive friends from 5 -7 P.M. OBITUARY: MARGO RAUERT

Margo Ann Rauert, the daughter of Martin D. and Vona (Johansen) Brandt, was born in Grand Island, Nebraska on September 27, 1949 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on July 28, 2003, at the age of 53.

She was born and raised in Grand Island. Margo graduated from Grand Island Senior High School in 1968. She attended Kearney State College and worked at the Lutheran Hospital in Grand Island as a surgery nurse. Margo received her Certified Surgical Technician License and specialized as a surgery nurse in Grand Island and Kearney.

Margo was united in marriage to Glenn Rauert on November 8, 1969 at Grand Island. She has worked for the past 22 years in medical records at the Hamilton Manor in Aurora.

Margo was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. She loved playing with her granddaughters. Margo also enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting, golfing and playing bridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Glenn of Aurora; son, Kent Rauert and his wife Kara of York and 2 granddaughters, Alexandra and Ashton Rauert of York. She is also survived by her brother, Larry Brandt of Gig Harbor, Washington and her sister, Karen Brandt of Des Moines, Iowa.
