Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 22, 1985 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Cora Reardon

Cora H. Reardon, daughter of James and Rose Mary (Sterbenz) Reardon, was born at Aurora, Nebraska, on October 15, 1890, and passed away at Stromsburg, Nebraska, on April 19, 1985, at the age of 94 years, 6 months and 4 days.

She received her education in the Aurora Public Schools and graduated from High School in 1909. She attended summer school at Kearney State, Nebraska Christian, Hastings College and the University of Nebraska Lincoln. She taught school for 40 years. Starting at District # 73, southeast of Aurora in the country and her last years were spent in the Henderson Public School System. She retired in 1957.

She was a lifetime member of the First Christian Church in Aurora and active in the circles.

Cora was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, David and John Reardon.

Her survivors are two nieces; Mrs. Helen Pohl of Hampton and Mrs. Dorothy Hanway of Aurora and 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews and other close friends.
