Murray Rehrs

Murray Rehrs, age 50, of Hampton, passed away Friday, March 11, 2011, at his home.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, March 16th at the Zion Lutheran Church north of Hampton. Pastor Loren Cooper will officiate. Interment will be in the Hampton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora. The family will receive friends from 5 -7. OBITUARY: MURRAY REHRS

Murray Alan Rehrs, the son of Dwayne and LaRue (Troester) Rehrs, was born at Aurora, Nebraska on March 18, 1960 and died in Hampton, Nebraska on March 11, 2011, at the age of 50.

Murray grew up in Hampton and graduated from Hampton High School.

On September 15, 1979 he was united in marriage to Donna Bailey.

Murray greatest enjoyment was spending time with his children and grandchildren. He liked doing woodworking and carpentry projects. Murray was also a motorcycle enthusiast.

He was preceded in death by his father, sister-in-law and grandparents.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Donna of Hampton; two children, Sarah (Josh) Reher of Grand Island and Jeff (Kristle) Rehrs of North Platte; three grandchildren, Cole, Emma and Dylan; mother, LaRue Rehrs of Hampton; brother, Greg (Geri) Rehrs of Kearney; sister, Myra (Ryan) Schardt of Byron; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Judy Sample of Aurora; brother-in-law, Bob McMaster of Doniphan and two sisters-in-law, Becky (Mark) Francis of Aurora and Tanya (Jeff) Althop of El Cajon, California and several nieces and nephews.
