Rhonda Reisinger

Rhonda Reisinger, age 51, of Seward, died Thursday, November 22, 2007, at Seward Memorial Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, November 27th at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Rev. Richard Karohl will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 P.M. Monday at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora. Memorials may be made in care of family. OBITUARY: RHONDA REISINGER

Rhonda Sue Reisinger, the daughter of Darold Duane and Lucile Wilma (Gibson) Larsen, was born in Grand Island, Nebraska on December 14, 1955 and died in Seward, Nebraska on November 22, 2007, at the age of 51.

She grew up in Marquette and graduated from Marquette High School in 1974. Rhonda was involved in cheerleading, volleyball and 4-H.

On September 15, 1979, she was united in marriage to David Reisinger at the Methodist Church in Marquette. They lived in the Marquette, Grand Island and Hampton during these years. Rhonda worked for several years at the Hamilton Manor and Bonnavilla Homes in Aurora during this time. When they moved to Seward, Rhonda worked for Hughes Brothers.

Rhonda was a member of the Methodist Church. She loved cooking and being with her grandchildren. Rhonda loved taking trips to Ohio to visit family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant son, Eric Reisinger.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, David Reisinger of Seward; son, Chad Larsen and special friend Deniel Ribar of Cleveland, Ohio; two daughters, Melanie Reisinger and special friend Marc Nordmeyer of Seward and Erica Reisinger and special friend Justin Hemphill of Staplehurst; three grandchildren, Seth Larsen, Emma Hemphill and Nova Nordmeyer and brother, Terry (Deb) Larsen of Grand Island. She is also survived by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Aaron (Mary) Reisinger of Grand Island; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dennis (Lisa) Reisinger of Grand Island, sisters-in-law, Paula Reisinger of Lincoln and Dianne Parker of St. Paul and three nephews.
