Marie Ritz

Funeral Services were held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 15, 1998 at the Aurora Evangelical Covenant Church. Interment was held in the Evergreen Cemetery in Loup City, Nebraska.

OBITUARY: Marie Lucille Ritz

Mrs. Ritz was born October 9, 1908 in Sherman County near Loup City, NE to Charles and Mary (Kley) Schwaderer. She grew up in the rural Loup City area and attended Wiggle Creek School.

She was married to Erich Ritz on October 24, 1929 and the couple farmed in the Loup City, Arcadia, and Comstock areas. Upon retirement they divided their time between Arkansas and Nebraska. Marie spent her last years in Aurora and the last 13 months in the Memorial Community Care Center.

She was a charter member of the Wescott Baptist Church in Comstock and faithfully attended the Twin Springs Christian Church in Siloam Springs, Arkansas and The Evangelical Covenant Church in Aurora while her health permitted.

Survivors include one son Arthur (Bud) Ritz and wife Marian of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; two daughters, Carolyn (Mrs. Ernest) Moravec of Morrill, Kansas; Maxine (Mrs. Byron) Lewin of Aurora; 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, six sisters, four brothers, and three grandsons.
