KATHERINE ROBERTS

"Kay" Roberts, age 73 of Aurora, died Thursday morning, November 29, 2001, at Memorial Community Care in Aurora.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Monday in the Chapel of Higby Mortuary in Aurora, with Rev. Seth Leypoldt officiating. Interment will be in Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: KATHERINE ROBERTS

Katherine Louise Roberts, the daughter of Archie and Lucille (Dood) McCoy, was born at Blackwell, Oklahoma on March 21, 1928, and died at Aurora, Nebraska on November 29, 2001, at the age of 73 years, 8 months, and 8 days.

She grew up at McPherson, Kansas, where she graduated from high school. After graduation she worked at a refinery in McPherson.

On February 10, 1951, she was united in marriage to Louis Roberts IV, at McPherson, Kansas. They lived in McPherson until 1971, when they moved to Aurora. They moved to Omaha in 1975 and returned to Aurora in 1991. Louis died on June 21, 1991. Kay continued to live in Aurora.

Kay enjoyed her family, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Survivors include her son, Rob and his wife Tammy of Phillips, her daughter Karen Flannigan of Phoenix, Arizona; a sister Liz Esping of McPherson, Kansas; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
